ONTEH is hosting a Men’s Wellness Retreat next week, one in Vernon ( March 26-28 ) and the following week in Kamloops (March 28-30th ). Day 1 – check into hotel

Dinner at 6 pm and opening circle.

Movie night or pool hotel time that evening

Day 2 – breakfast

Drum making

Lunch

Circle and Chaptiwk

Dinner off-site and evening activity – recreation based.

Day 3 – breakfast wrap-up and amazing door prize draw, including a grand prize pack.

National Aboriginal Indigenous Games (NAIG) tryouts

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTERING:  PLEASE NOTE – All athletes must be registered in our Team BC registration system prior to APRIL 2, 2023 in order to be eligible for selection to Team BC.

  1. Go to our Team BC registration system (Xplor, formerly PerfectMind) and set up a member profile.
  2. Proceed to the Expression of Interest application and fill this out.
  3. Go to the sport(s) that you are interested in and fill out the application for that sport.
  4. Refer to your athlete selection document at the bottom of this webpage as to the dates when scores and other materials must be uploaded to your profile.

NAIG WRESTLING EVENT:

The NAIG Wrestling competition consists of both male and female individual competition for following age and weight classes. Participants born in 2004 to 2008 are eligible.

PARTICIPANTS:

Each Province, Territory and State is allowed to enter two (2) male and two (2) female athletes per weight division for each age group.

Team BC is excited to participate in the following 13 sports:3D Archery, Athletics (Track & Field). Badminton, Basketball, Canoe/Kayak, Golf, Lacrosse (Box), Rifle Shooting, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Volleyball, Wrestling.
