The FNHPA Fish Name Contest

The First Nation Housing Professionals Association (FNHPA) is excited to announce their latest initiative to promote community engagement and awareness of the importance of housing in First Nation communities. The FNHPA Fish Name Contest is an opportunity for participants to showcase their creativity and imagination by designing a fish drawing and choosing a name for it.

The contest aims to engage with a younger audience and explore new ways of interacting with followers while promoting water quality and home care. FNHPA has acquired five fish, which will be featured on social media through “talking videos.” These videos will provide tips to followers on water quality and how to care for their homes. The organization also aims to create fun KMH (Keeper of My Home) and HWP (Housing and Wellness Program) posts to share with followers.

The contest is divided into five categories one for each fish. The winner will get to choose the name of their fish, receive a swag pack, gift card, and an image of their fish with monthly updates. Additionally, the winner’s picture will be featured on social media with their fish. The contest will have five judges, with one judge assigned to each fish, ensuring fairness in the selection process.

To participate, individuals must create a drawing of one of the five fish provided and include something related to housing in the drawing. They must also include the name of their fish in the drawing. The contest is open to all ages and provides a chance for participants to express their creativity while also promoting the importance of housing in First Nation communities.

The FNHPA Fish Name Contest is an exciting opportunity for individuals to engage with their community, showcase their artistic skills, and promote awareness of the importance of housing in First Nation communities. The contest aims to inspire the next generation to become involved and take an interest in the issues facing their communities. Follow FNHPA’s social media pages to see the amazing fish drawings of those who have won!
