Their mandate is to foster the well-being of the whole person and their connectedness to self, family and community when dealing with substance use and addictions.

Notice about Garbage Bin

There is a garbage bin located beside the sandbag station.  This bin is for Chuchuwayha #2 Community residents to use.

 

This garbage bin will be available until the end of August.

Food Waste

Appliances

 

If you have appliances that need to be removed, please fill out a work order form and Maintenance will make arrangements as their schedule permits.

Notice Regarding Campfires!

The British Columbia Wildfire Service via the Kamloops Fire Centre has issued a bulletin regarding campfires:

 

As of 12:00 Noon on Thursday, August 4, 2022, campfires will no longer be allowed within the Kamloops Fire Centre.

 

USIB is included in the Kamloops Fire Centre and is therefore under the Fire Ban.

 

Please do not have any fires.

 

USIB and the BCWS will work together if a Sacred Fire is required.
