Tell us in your own words what’s great about your family. It doesn’t have to be long. A paragraph will do. Then send it to , and you’ll have a chance to win a package of gift cards from local businesses for fun family activities.
If you’d rather draw than write, you can do that instead. Just send us your best family drawing.
ONTEH’s Family Day Contest is open only to Okanagan Nation members. It closes on Family Day, Feb. 19, 2024. The winner will be notified by email.

Okanagan College is excited to announce an upcoming Community Support Worker Skills Training.

This series is designed for learners who have identified a passion for work in community social services and features free tuition to those meeting certain criteria. The training provides a foundation of knowledge and skills related to community support work. The program will include a First Aid course and a job shadow opportunity. Learners will be prepared to begin a career supporting people in health care settings. OneSky Community Resources received funding for delivery of this program through the Community Workforce Response Grant program. See attached for more course information.

Delivery method: Online with approximately 1 day of in-person training per month at OC’s Penticton campus
Dates: Feb. 13 to Dec. 19, Tues/Thurs evenings
