USIB Membership Meeting Invitation – Chuchuwayha Hall Update
Tuesday, July 19th, 2022, 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
In September 2021 USIB signed an agreement with the provincial Ministry of Municipal Affairs to receive up to $1,504,670 in funding for the repair and rehabilitation of the Chuchuwayha Hall and transform it into a safe and healthy space for our community.
Understanding the community’s requirements for the hall is an important part of the design process. This meeting is an opportunity to meet with members of the project team and get an update regarding the ongoing work at Chuchuwayha Hall.
Architect Barry McGinn will share some preliminary designs for the rehabilitation project and seek community input regarding several options that are being considered.
This is a good opportunity to contribute ideas and provide our consultants with feedback.
Location – Hedley Hall
If any Elder’s need transportation, please Contact Patricia at the Band Office to arrange for a ride.
