Attention Members Election News

Ernest Jack, Electoral Officer for USIB has appointed Lisa Pastro as Deputy Electoral Officer in the upcoming February 25th, 2022 election. All election-related questions should continue to be directed to Ernest Jack, with Lisa providing a support role. Should you need to contact either of them please contact the band office at 250-292-8733 and they will assist in getting you in contact with them.

These are the guidelines of Provincial Health and BC Centre for Disease Control.

USIB staff can update community on these guidelines, but we do not make your decisions.

 

If you feel sick with any of the following commonly reported symptoms:

 

  • new or worsening cough
  • headache
  • feeling very unwell
  • feeling feverish
  • chills
  • fatigue or weakness
  • muscle or body aches
  • temperature equal to or more than 38°C/100.4°F
  • shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • new loss of smell or taste
  • abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting

 

If you are between day 2-4 of any of these symptoms, please call the office to have an at-home Rapid Antigen test dropped off to you. If you feel you cannot do the test yourself, please let us know and we can assist you.

 

Letting us know you are sick helps us keep track of factual numbers, to help us prepare for the next steps in keeping the community safe, in case of an emergency.
